Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and activist for animal rights. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. While working as a photographer's assistant then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office worldwide. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
